Prior to joining SWBC in 2014, Gil was a Financial Advisor at USAA Financial Advisors, Inc for 16 years. Gil received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation from the College for Financial Planning and FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
He is a Persian Gulf War Veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal from both the Emirate of Kuwait & The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, and The Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal.
